French photographer Remi Ochlik, 28, was killed alongside Marie Colvin when a makeshift media center in Homs was bombarded by Syrian forces during a siege on the city of Homs, a seat of opposition protests. In 2005 Ochlik founded the IP3 PRESS photography agency. He had photographed conflicts in Haiti, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt and the conflict in Libya in 2011, according to his website.
